Web Design explores a variety of ways to set up web pages for variety of uses. Students will become familiar with the Macromedia Suite for web page development, which includes Dreamweaver, Flash and Fireworks. Students will learn how to link pages, edit source code and create custom animation. Students will also learn how to use a variety of web resources in creating web pages, including peer reviews, group projects and user tutorials. You will learn how to create and animate a character to create a movie and will learn how to design and program a game using Flash. This course is valuable for students who wish to create web pages for personal use, school use or for those looking to pursue a business related degree program in college or technical trade.
Students enrolled in this course work with Trimble SketchUp. SketchUp is a 3D modeling program designed for architects, civil engineers, filmmakers, game developers, and related professions. It also includes features to facilitate the placement of models in Google Earth. It is designed to be easier to use than other 3D CAD programs
This course examines the major computer graphic concepts at a comprehensive yet introductory level. This course will focus on principals, software and skills used in advertising and graphic industries through hands-on computer work using Adobe Photoshop.
